Great Exaggerations…

I can’t help but wonder if a lot of the focus on ‘social justice’ (Social Gospel) and living Christianity (in the sense of the emergent church) among certain Christians are exaggerated responses to the diminished role ‘social justice’ and living Christianity played during the development of Protestantism during the 18th and 19th centuries. Movements greatly influenced by reformed theology, necessarily seeing God as being not dependent on us, able to work out His plan regardless of us.… (Read more)
