Christopher Hitchens: Cancer

I heard the sad news today (when, oh when, will I get a consistent connection…) that Christopher Hitchens has been diagnosed with esophageal cancer:

I have been advised by my physician that I must undergo a course of chemotherapy on my oesophagus. This advice seems persuasive to me. I regret having had to cancel so many engagements at such short notice.

While I disagreed with him, I very much liked his writing. The man needs prayer and support.
